A real estate agent can help you understand everything you need to know about the home BUYING or SELLING process.
Not all real estate licensees are the same; only those who are members of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® are properly called REALTORS®. They proudly display the REALTOR " ®" trademark on their business cards and other marketing and sales literature.
While all REALTORS® are state-issued licensees as agents or brokers, the major difference between a “real
estate licensee” and a REALTOR® is that REALTORS® have taken an oath to subscribe to a stringent,enforceable Code of Ethics with Standards of Practice that promote the fair, ethical and honest treatment of all parties in a transaction. Non-member
licensees have taken no such oath and are not morally bound to
the ethical practices and principles set for in the REALTOR® Code.
For that extra measure of peace of mind, ensure the individual seeking to represent you is both a real estate
licensee and a REALTOR®.

7. DO YOU HAVE YOUR OWN WEB-SITE?
8. DO YOU HAVE ANY REAL ESTATE DESIGNATIONS(CRS,GRI,ABR,e-PRO..)?
9. DO YOU HAVE A BROKER'S LICENSE?
10. DO YOU HAVE A DOZENS OF BUYERS AND SELLER REFERENCES I CAN CALL?
11. CAN I CONTACT THESE REFERRALS DIRECTLY?
12. HOW DO YOU MARKET YOURSELL? CAN I SEE COPIES OF THESE TOOLS?

19. WILL YOU KEEP ME CURRENT, AND GIVE ME UPDATES ON A REGULAR BASIS DURING THE SELLING AND BUYING PROCESS? HOW OFTEN WILL YOU DO THIS? WHAT TOOLS WILL YOU USE TO DO SO, OR WILL YOU BECOME A SECRET AGENT?
20. WHAT REALTOR NETWORKING AND INTERNET MARKETING DO YOU DO?
21. CAN YOU GUARANTEE THAT YOU WILL PERSONALLY ANSWER ALL CALLS ON MY HOME?
22. WILL YOU SHOW ME HOW TO STAGE MY HOME TO MAKE IT "SHINE" SO I CAN "GET TOP DOLLAR" WITH THE LEAST AMOUNT OF OUT OF POCKET INVESTMENT?
22. HOW WILL YOU PROTECT ME IN THIS TRANSACTION?
Real Estate is a personal service business.You should expect knowledge, professionalism and skills from the realtor that you hire in the areas of financing, contracts, negotiating and marketing. Select a realtor with a tract record of producing results. Selling and buying a home should not be left to “chance” and is not something that you let a friend or relative“try”.
After all, your home is probably your single largest investment and should only be handled by a professional.
